1. Ellipsis چیست و چرا مهم است؟

5. Ellipsis با Were / Had

Were it not for financial support, the project would fail.

فرم کامل:

اینجا هم حذف داریم، هم inversion، هم رسمیت بالا.

6. مواردی که حذف مجاز نیست

  • وقتی باعث ابهام شود
  • در گفتار غیررسمی بیش از حد
  • وقتی مرجع فعل مشخص نباشد
❌ If tired, he decided to leave. (ambiguous)
✔️ If he was tired, he decided to leave.

7. Ellipsis در نوشتار آکادمیک

در مقاله‌ها و گزارش‌ها، ellipsis نشانه‌ی کنترل ساختاری زبان است.
