The two maps illustrate how Riverside Town changed between 1990 and 2015. Overall, the area experienced considerable urban redevelopment, with farmland and industrial facilities being replaced by residential, commercial, and recreational amenities.

In 1990, the eastern side of town contained a large farmland, while the north-west was occupied by a factory. A marketplace lay in the central zone, and a single bridge connected the southern housing and school to the opposite bank of the river. The overall road layout consisted of one major north–south route and a minor east–west road.

By 2015, the town had undergone substantial restructuring. The farmland had been redeveloped into apartment blocks, and the former factory site was transformed into a tech hub.
