Nominal Clauses

در این درس، گرامر Nominal Clauses را به‌طور کامل یاد می‌گیریم. Nominal Clauses نقش اسم را در جمله دارند و می‌توانند به عنوان فاعل، مفعول، یا مکمل استفاده شوند. رایج‌ترین نوع آن clauses با that, whether, و wh-words هستند.

1. ساختار کلی Nominal Clauses

Nominal Clauses معمولاً بعد از افعال، صفات، یا اسم‌ها می‌آیند و نقش اسم را دارند. ساختار آن به صورت زیر است:

Subject + verb + (that/whether/wh-word) + clause

2. جملات با 'that'

برای بیان حقیقت، عقیده یا اطلاع از چیزی از that استفاده می‌کنیم.

I believe that she is a good teacher. – من معتقدم که او معلم خوبی است.
He said that he would come. – او گفت که خواهد آمد.

3. جملات با 'whether'

برای بیان دو احتمال یا سوال غیرمستقیم از whether استفاده می‌کنیم.

I don’t know whether he will join us. – نمی‌دانم آیا او به ما خواهد پیوست.
She asked whether I had seen the movie. – او پرسید آیا فیلم را دیده‌ام.

4. جملات با 'wh-words'

برای سوالات غیرمستقیم از wh-words مانند what, where, when, why, how استفاده می‌کنیم.

I wonder what he is doing. – من تعجب می‌کنم او چه کار می‌کند.
Can you tell me where the nearest bank is? – می‌توانی به من بگویی نزدیک‌ترین بانک کجاست؟
